Libya’s Airports Authority announced last week that it is continuing the implementation of its various upgrade projects to Mitiga airport through its contracted companies.

The projects are intended to increase capacity and provide the better services to travellers at the small makeshift airport. It will be recalled that the small Mitiga airport was forced into service as Tripoli’s main airport after militia fighting destroyed Tripoli International Airport.
